Duluth

We visited Duluth last weekend to say goodbye to Scout, and see the big ships in the harbor. We had a little car trouble on the way there, but all was fine and we even got to see Uncle Jason. Overall, a great day with two very good, well-behaved boys!

Miles is sitting fairly well now, especially with sand to hold him up:

5 months!

Here's Miles at 5 months. Time is going by so fast. He's rolling over from his front to his back (around 4 1/2 months) and his back to his front (around 5 months). He's not sitting regularly yet, but he's working on it. He can pick his pacifier up and almost get it in his mouth, and he is of course chewing on anything he can get his mouth on - including his brother!

4th of July baby!

Does he look like anyone you know here? My brother TJ:

I had to include this one, because Henry looks SO big.

And the best part - here's H singing two of his favorite songs!

Finally! (again)

4 months old!

Jeff captured this picture of Miles:

When Henry saw it, he did this:

Almost...

After not rolling over since he was 7 weeks old (seriously, he did it about 10 times during that week of his life) Miles finally rolled over again last weekend. He's getting so big.

Here he is chattering away.

And here he is screaming. From excitement or tiredness or crankiness, I can't say.

Swingset

As suggested by Francie (thanks!) we chronicled the building of our swingset. I did help, although you won't see me in any of the pictures. Jeff did all the hard labor, and Henry apparently found the dirt in the garden, so we were all happy. We've got a few small steps left, including putting in the sandbox, but Henry's birthday present, and Miles' welcome to the world present is almost done!

Oh Henry

I didn't make him do this - he wanted to - really.

More videos

Miles is still not chattering away too much, but I'll post the videos anyway, so you can see how he's growing. He's filling out so well. What a cute, sweet cheeks little boy.

I'll apologize now for our parenting skills. Apparently we really need to watch what we say around Henry:

Jeff's been reading a Dr. Seuss book to Henry about scary pants. Henry absolutely loves it. So much that he talks about it all of the time and will retell the story over and over again:

Alaska!

We all had a good time in Alaska last week. Both boys ended up getting sick, so they could have been happier, but they had fun with grandma and grandpa and Uncle Mike.

Here's Miles getting a bath in the sink:

Old Geezer "prospect"

So tired! Henry got to sleep in a big big boy bed at the hotel. He didn't even fall off.

We visited Jeff's old house and school in Anchorage. Henry loved the playground.
