Merry Christmas! Henry really enjoyed opening presents this year. He helped anyone who would let him. Here's some pictures from Christmas Eve, Christmas morning, and Henry "enjoying" the snow.

This first video is quintessential Henry, wanting to see whatever we are recording of him (so vain). The next two are of him enjoying present opening and his new play room that we redecorated for him. What a lucky little guy.

It's about time

Well, we've been busy these days, so we haven't captured a lot of videos to share. But, here's a few funny ones from yesterday. Again, who knows what he's saying. Even though he may speak 100 or so words independent of each other, when he speaks in sentences it becomes gibberish. Cute gibberish, but gibberish nonetheless.

Oh yes - and he still loves lights in all forms. Here he's playing with the light switch - and of course a light saber. He'll be such a cute nerd kid. Poor guy - he doesn't have any choice coming from us.

I find sleepy-faced Henry adorable:

He likes putting all of his animals in the laundry basket and climbing in:

Pictures galore

Here's some pictures from the last few days. Henry loved his monkey costume so much that we had to fight to get it off him at the end of the night. We went to Rosedale Mall for trick-or-treating which was okay. He didn't seem too into it, but it was fun to see all the other costumes.

It was a beautiful weekend so we had a lot of time to play outside in the leaves. What fun!

Pumpkins galore

The videos won't post for some reason, but here's some pictures to enjoy from our pumpkin carving last night. Notice the changes from last year to this year - he really liked it this time around.

It's a...

It's a boy! As if you couldn't tell from the picture and the nicely placed arrow. This is a view from his bottom up.

So sweet.

So scary!

I love baby feet.

So there you go. It's a boy and he's due in late February. Now we don't have to buy all new clothes and we can see all of our favorite ones again. Henry will be so proud to be a big brother.

Oh Henry

Hey - we didn't do this to him, he did it to himself. And seriously, he really does like to do this for some strange reason.

Dancing and reading

Henry's been busy this last month. We tried to get some good videos of him dancing because he does it all the time and absolutely loves it. Of course every time we get out the camera he refuses to do all of his cute moves, but these are still pretty good.

He likes to watch himself in the fireplace since he can see his reflection. So vain!

And more dancing

One of his favorite things to do is pick books to read off the shelf then come sit on a lap. It's so sweet. Honestly, if we didn't have any toys in the house and just had books I think he's be more than happy.

And he loves to kiss the gorillas:

Big news!

In big news...

Henry's going to be a big brother!

You can tell how excited he is from this picture...

I'm about 15 + weeks along right now (3 1/2 months or so).
We can expect the little one to arrive in late February or early
March. A winter storm baby!

Here's some other pictures since I haven't posted any pictures
in a while. He's at the beach with some of his daycare friends:

And here he's just being Henry:

For those of you with some time on your hands, watch
this 2 minute video of Henry making things "just right."

Since Jeff is in Germany right now and he hasn't seen H in over a week, I thought I'd post more video. Nothing too terribly exciting, but here's our boy in action.

A little walkin' and talkin' and laughing too

H loves the camera's and tries to play with them any chance he gets.

He really does think that he's saying things - you can understand him, right?

Oh boy does he love to laugh.

Walking and sitting

H loves his big chair. If you sit on it with him he will push you off so he gets it all to himself.

And he's been walking for a while now. He's getting a bit more steady, but he's still a little wobbly on his feet.

Tofu!

One of H's favorite foods is tofu! He says num-num when he's eating it - check it out.

Stairs!

H loves climbing up our bedroom stairs. He does it only when he knows we are there watching him, either because he knows he shouldn't do it alone, or he loves the audience, I'm not sure which...

Happy 4th - celebrate with a new deck!

We finished our deck just in time for the 4th. Henry was a big help - mainly because he was a good sport and took long naps or let us work while he entertained himself. Hopefully he gets as much joy out of the deck as I know I'm going to.

Duluth!

Henry is getting there with walking, but he still thinks that crawling is the quickest way to go. He has a new favorite word - ball. He says Daddy all of the time, but rarely says Momma. I find it interesting (?) that he prefers to say ball over momma, but I guess sometimes I can play second fiddle.

We had our first trip up to Duluth this past weekend. He didn't seem to like the cold water of Lake Superior too much, but the sand was interesting, especially since he could eat it.

And we visiting Tierney for her high school graduation. It was a lot of fun to go on our first "road trip" even if it was only 3 hours away. Henry thought it was a lot of fun when Dad rode in the backseat with him and entertained him.

Messy mealtime

He does a pretty good job, but as you can see he gets a little all over the place.

He's also walking across about half the living room now.

He's walking...

Our boy is walking. He started about a week ago taking his first steps - typically into the arms of either me or Jeff. What a cutie. He gets a big kick out of himself and thinks he's a big boy like his buddies at daycare. He's sleeping on a big boy mat at daycare and isn't in the crib anymore. Our boy is growing up so fast...

Shake it Baby!

Henry will "shake it" if you tell him too. He loves to dance!

It's finally spring

H loves his new Twins hat and his wagon.
