Our strange boy

Who would think that putting dad's sweatshirt on our boy would make him so happy? He ran around in this for a long time and had a lot of fun. Probably because it's dad's I suppose.

H loves to say "Hi baby" to momma's belly. I still don't think that he get's it because sometimes he'll do the same thing to his belly and his dad's, but I guess soon enough he'll be able to say "Hi baby" to the real thing (6 weeks and counting).

Not sure what he's doing here - just being crazy silly I guess:

H LOVES lotion and especially likes it on his cheek and his chin:

I guess there's not a lot else to do with retirement funds these days except to make a hat out of the envelope that they come in:

And lastly, Twinkle Twinkle appears to be his favorite song. He'll sing along with you as you can tell. The strange camera angle is so he doesn't try to run to see what we're filming on the camera:

That's all. We're attempting to move him to a big boy bed this weekend to make room for the baby in the crib. We'll see how that goes. We may have to postpone it if it doesn't take. He's also taken to letting us know when his diaper is dirty - this morning he told me "diaper" and then walked into his room and stood by his changing table. He also likes saying "poop" which is always funny. I guess we're getting closer to the inevitable potty training. One thing at a time though.

Merry Christmas! Henry really enjoyed opening presents this year. He helped anyone who would let him. Here's some pictures from Christmas Eve, Christmas morning, and Henry "enjoying" the snow.

This first video is quintessential Henry, wanting to see whatever we are recording of him (so vain). The next two are of him enjoying present opening and his new play room that we redecorated for him. What a lucky little guy.

It's about time

Well, we've been busy these days, so we haven't captured a lot of videos to share. But, here's a few funny ones from yesterday. Again, who knows what he's saying. Even though he may speak 100 or so words independent of each other, when he speaks in sentences it becomes gibberish. Cute gibberish, but gibberish nonetheless.

Oh yes - and he still loves lights in all forms. Here he's playing with the light switch - and of course a light saber. He'll be such a cute nerd kid. Poor guy - he doesn't have any choice coming from us.

I find sleepy-faced Henry adorable:

He likes putting all of his animals in the laundry basket and climbing in:

Pictures galore

Here's some pictures from the last few days. Henry loved his monkey costume so much that we had to fight to get it off him at the end of the night. We went to Rosedale Mall for trick-or-treating which was okay. He didn't seem too into it, but it was fun to see all the other costumes.

It was a beautiful weekend so we had a lot of time to play outside in the leaves. What fun!

Pumpkins galore

The videos won't post for some reason, but here's some pictures to enjoy from our pumpkin carving last night. Notice the changes from last year to this year - he really liked it this time around.

It's a...

It's a boy! As if you couldn't tell from the picture and the nicely placed arrow. This is a view from his bottom up.

So sweet.

So scary!

I love baby feet.

So there you go. It's a boy and he's due in late February. Now we don't have to buy all new clothes and we can see all of our favorite ones again. Henry will be so proud to be a big brother.

Oh Henry

Hey - we didn't do this to him, he did it to himself. And seriously, he really does like to do this for some strange reason.
